I liked this book for the little nuggets of advise on how to live a successful life. The circumstances under which it was written are very sad.
I did find that he centered on himself a little too much, but then who wouldn't as they are about to die. For me it is like a review of his life and what he learned, seen in the most positive way.

A beautiful story of friendship between 2 little girls, during the China of foot binding. A heart wrenching story extremely well written. A must read!

Une histoir magnifique entre deux petites filles qui dure le temps d'une vie. Cette histoir qui m'a pris le coeur se passe en Chine pendant l'epoque ou ils cassaient encore les pieds des femmes. Tres bien ecrit. A lire absolument!
